FRUIT SALAD IN A POT BY THE VEGGIE LADY
In this month's article, Toni tells us how to grow "Fruit
Salad Trees" in a pot to save space. "You
can now actually grow up to 8 different types of fruit on the
one tree. It's done through a technique of multi-grafting, where
several different types of plants are grafted onto the one strong
rootstock... There are a few restrictions because you need to
keep all the stonefruit together, as with all the citrus, all
the apples and all the pears..." Full article at: http://www.chaosgeneration.com/theveggielady/fruit_salad_pot.htm.

eBay. Her online shop is called Bargain Cave. The article says
she holds 400 auctions a week worth around $5500. The article

A CONTEST TO OUTWIT GOOGLE
This
article in Wired online, talks about the SEO Challenge (Search
Engine Optimisation) which is sponsored by DarkBlue, an Australian
affiliate-marketing company, and SearchGuild.com. It challenges
participants to use any search engine optimisation method to
try and claim the number one spot on Google for an odd term.

blue" in Latin. The first round has been won by Brandon
Suit. Suit says that he used the backlinking strategy to help
him get ranked Number One.

SUPER SIZE ME
Fiona Prior reviews the Morgan Spurlock film Super Size Me. "In
a nutshell Spurlock puts together the hot issues of personal,
corporate and social responsibility and the insidious factors
of multibillion dollar advertising campaigns and subliminal life-style
influence and presents them in a grossly subjective and very entertaining
way ..." Full review at: http://www.chaosgeneration.com/film_reviews/supersizeme.htm.
There's also a short review of the film by Kirsten Lowe on the
same page.

OSAMA
Review by Fiona Prior. "'Osama'
the boy-child is actually a 12-year-old girl-child. Along with
her mother and grandmother, 'Osama' is destitute in Taliban-ruled
Afghanistan. There is no male family member to provide for them
- their status as 'women' makes it impossible for them, unescorted
by a male, to publicly procure food and necessities ... let alone
work to make the money to buy them..."
