Melbourne Cup
It's Melbourne Cup day today. May check out the papers later and watch the race depending on where I am at the time.
Home phone
Was looking around for a phone the other day. Wanted one that kind of works like a mobile ie one with an earphone/headphone plug. Initially saw a pretty nice Panasonic one but it was pretty expensive. Then saw a Uniden XS915 one with earphone/headphone plug which was over $100 but a lot cheaper than the other one so got that one. I didn't care about any other features.
I got cable installed the other day and so wanted to be able to talk on the phone hands free so that I can surf the web with two hands on the keyboard, rather than single finger typing with one hand whilst the other hand is holding the phone.
