I read an article about this book called "Manhood." The idea is that many men are emotionally infantile as adults as Mother's have brought up boys taking responsibility for their emotions. This is a catch 22 because it is these boys who turn into men and whose partner's then get frustrated that these men are boys in terms of expressing their emotions but they themselves will then go on to bring up their own sons in the same way, perpetual circle.

Therefore i created this character who had basically gone through life allowing others to guide him and make decisions for him. On the outside Andy looks as though he has everything, the apartment, the girlfriend, the looks etc... However, he is unable to express himself and has difficulty making decisions. On a journey into work Andy makes on of the first decisions of his life. The attached clip is from the middle of the film. This is a work in progress and a compilation of footage , without sound mix or score, rather than a finished piece of edited work.

The stills are a selection from a shoot that i'd done and compiled for a film pitch at Sydney Uni'. I then decided to expand on the idea and wrote "Strange Love" around it.
